The older I get the more I realize how little I know and how much I need reminding of wisdom shared with me. Today I stuck gold during my Golden Hour, that early morning prayer and reading routine I practice.
Peter Drucker reminded me of the opportunities inside turbulent times. John Maxwell spoke on friendship value within teamwork. My 2 Minute Pep Talk reiterated Maxwell by suggesting always bringing friends into your problems.
Watchman Nee talked about less of me and more of God as the best way to reduce worry and increase blessings. CS Lewis expounded on the blessings that flow form obedience to God and not the other way around. Finally, Sarah Young, as only she can, remined me that God wants us to constantly be renewing our minds.
I guess that is why I cherish my Golden Hour, because I never know if today is the morning I strike gold.
Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers.
